Elementary Teacher Aid – Full Time Full Time

Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School is accepting applications for a dynamic teacher aide to work alongside elementary school students in Madison, WI.  

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Commitment to Catholic Identity and forming students in their love of Jesus Christ. 

  • Commitment to continued development of his/her personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Commitment to teaching the whole child (academics, social emotional learning, and spiritual formation)

  • Ability to embed differentiation in daily instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of students.

  • Commitment to collaboration and reflection within a school community dedicated to continuous improvement.

  • Ability to adjust instruction based on formative assessment data.

  • Ability to communicate effectively to form partnerships with families.

  • Ability to reflect on practice.

  • Valid Wisconsin teaching certificate in the subject area of employment – preferred.

A background in working with Elementary-aged students is preferred; teacher creativity is valued. The successful candidate will be team-oriented, flexible, and possess a growth mindset in pursuit of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.

Applicants who are practicing the Catholic faith will be given preference.
