Middle School Science/Social Studies/Religion Teacher Full Time NEW

Our Lady Queen of Peace School in Madison is seeking a Middle School Science/Social Studies/ReligionTeacher. As a High School prep school, we count on our Science/Social Studies teacher to prepare our students for a successful experience in Science/Social Studies. We are a 21st-century learning environment with access to various technologies and interactive media to enhance the learning experience. STEM education practices are interwoven into the robust curriculum. A formal Science Lab allows our students to have a hands-on Scientific experience. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (BA) from an accredited college or university. Possession of a valid teaching certification (as appropriate). Preferred 1-2 years of successful teaching experience (may include Student Teaching Internship). Command of content for Middle School and early High School Science and Social Studies and theoretical knowledge or confidence in learning theory, including motivation, reinforcement, evaluation, and feedback techniques. Understanding of and commitment to upholding strong Christian values. Confidence with technology and technological experiences would be a great fit.
