Middle School Teacher (SCIENCE) Part Time

Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School is accepting applications for a dynamic educator to teach middle school students in Madison, WI, in this part-time position that could be combined with other posted positions to become full-time.  

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• • Commitment to Catholic Identity and forming students in their love of Jesus Christ. 

  • Commitment to continued development of his/her personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Commitment to teaching the whole child (academics, social emotional learning, and spiritual formation)

  • Ability to embed differentiation in daily instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of students.

  • Commitment to collaboration and reflection within a school community dedicated to continuous improvement.

  • Ability to adjust instruction based on formative assessment data.

  • Ability to communicate effectively to form partnerships with families.

  • Ability to reflect on practice.

  • Valid Wisconsin teaching certificate in the subject area of employment – Middle Level Education – preferred.

A background in Math + Science instruction is preferred; teacher creativity is valued.
