Sacred Heart Catholic School in Reedsburg, Wisconsin is seeking a full-time principal for the 2025-2026 school year. The PK-8 school of 160 students is accredited through WRISA and has an enthusiastic faculty and staff who are passionate when it comes to teaching students to learn.
The successful candidate should possess dynamic leadership skills, demonstrate excellent communication skills, display knowledge of curriculum and instruction, have experience leading to improve student learning and be a practicing Catholic in good standing. In addition, a successful candidate will prioritize evangelical efforts within the school. By fostering trusting relationships with parents, students, and faculty, the principal will help to deepen their spiritual lives. Strengthening the Catholic identity of the school, through consultation with the Parocial Administrator and Parochial Vicars, will be an integral part of the principal’s duties.
Candidates should hold or be working toward a master’s degree in educational administration and Wisconsin licensure as a principal (#51). A minimum of five years of successful teaching experience is required. Prior, successful administrative experience, preferably in a Catholic school, is desirable but not required.
