St. Therese Catholic School is seeking a dedicated, faith-filled, and energetic Sixth Grade Teacher to join our middle school team for the upcoming academic year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about guiding students through the pivotal transition into their middle school years, fostering both academic excellence and spiritual growth.
About the Role:
As the Sixth Grade Teacher, you will play a vital role in our school community. You will be responsible for creating a classroom environment that reflects Catholic values while delivering a rigorous curriculum that prepares students for the challenges of higher education.
Key Responsibilities:
· Instructional Leadership: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in core subjects (Religion, ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies) aligned with Diocesan standards.
· Faith Formation: Integrate Catholic teachings and values into daily instruction and lead students in prayer and liturgical participation.
· Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, organized, and respectful classroom culture that encourages student accountability and mutual respect.
· Collaboration: Work closely with the middle school team, administration, and parents to support the holistic development of each child.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Elementary or Middle School Education.
· Licensure: Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license (or eligibility for licensure). · Faith: A practicing Catholic in good standing is preferred, with a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. · Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills, and a proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom.
