After-School Lead Teacher Part Time

Our Lady Queen of Peace School is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable After-School Lead Teacher to work with students in grades K4–3.

The After-School Lead Teacher will care for approximately 5–8 students at a time while creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment. Activities may include:

• Outdoor play and playground time
• Arts and crafts
• Gardening projects
• Group games
• LEGO building
• Creative and imaginative play
• Other engaging activities based on students’ interests

The Lead Teacher will work alongside a team of young adults to supervise students, plan activities, promote positive behavior, and ensure that every child feels safe and included.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2:45–5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 1:45–5:30 p.m.
• Applicants must be available at least three afternoons each week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Enjoys working and playing with young children
• Dependable, responsible, patient, and energetic
• Able to provide positive leadership and maintain a safe environment
• Comfortable working collaboratively with a team

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.
