Playground Supervisor – Grades 4K–8
Our Lady Queen of Peace School is looking for a caring, dependable Playground Supervisor to join our school community!
Hours: 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible days available; Monday–Friday preferred
The Playground Supervisor helps provide a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for students in grades 4K–8 during lunch and recess.
Responsibilities
● Actively supervise students on the playground and during designated lunch/recess periods
● Help maintain a safe environment for all children
● Encourage positive play, inclusion, kindness, and respectful behavior
● Assist students in resolving minor disagreements and conflicts
● Recognize situations requiring additional staff support
● Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other playground supervisors
● Follow school safety procedures and expectations

● Genuinely enjoys and loves working with children
● Is dependable, patient, positive, and attentive
● Has strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
● Can be firm, fair, and compassionate when working with students
● Works well as part of a team
● Is comfortable supervising children of different ages
● Can be flexible and respond calmly to changing situations
